Yes, you are probably safe from spammers and hackers, but you are doing nothing to make your family members and other relatives safe.

If everyone takes a little time to try to rid the Internet of thievery, it will be a safer, more productive place. Who knows? Someday maybe we will all be using our real email addresses again.
